Biz Resources 👩🏻‍💻

Holy MOLEY, there's a lot of stuff you don't know when you start a business. 🤯🤯 I had NO idea when I started, so I've put everything I've found helpful into this resource library.

Hopefully it'll help you figure out:

  • What you might need.

  • Why you need it

  • Where to find it.

I'll keep this updated as and when I use/ find new things! The websites/ platforms I've personally used I've marked with a *.

A lot of things you can find for free, personally I love the Google applications (sheets, docs, forms) rather than some of the paid platforms. 💁🏻‍♀️

  • Wix*

  • Squarespace*

  • Wordpress

  • Canva (basic websites)*

  • Googleforms (free to use!)* this is what I use.

  • SurveyMonkey*

  • Typeform*

Canva (Creating content, ebooks, logos, literally everything!)*

There's a free and paid version. Amazing to create anything you need, even things like cocktail menus, basic websites and SO. much more.

Answer The Public (great for content ideas)*

You can see what people have been searching the most for on the internet. I.e. if you wanted to know what questions women had about healthy habits, you'd type in "healthy habits" and it would tell you all of the most searched things on this. Great for course/ content ideas.

Headline Generator (suggestions for headlines for content/ blogs etc)*

Gives you SO much great ideas for headlines.

You know you're always asked to enter your email to get X freebie, or to receive X weekly newsletter, or to buy X product? Then you start receiving emails from those companies? That's email marketing.

Collecting emails from your customers is KEY. If your social media gets deleted/ hacked or something happens to it, you'll be able to contact your audience still AND a lot of people don't use social media, so it's a great way to stay in touch with them.

  • Learnworlds*

  • Clickfunnels*

  • Teachable

  • Kajabi

  • Thinkific

  • Hellosign*

  • Signwell*

Calendly (for scheduling meetings)*

Allows clients, customers, team members etc to schedule meetings with you based on your availability, then it automatically adds the meetings into your calendar. SO much easier than manually arranging meetings/ calls. A game changer!

Trello (for organising projects)*

You can plan and keep track of projects on here. It's so great!! 'Asana' is also a similar website.

Zapier (connecting different platforms to each other)*

For example, if you build a course on X platform and want to connect your email marketing to it to collect emails, you can use Zapier to connect the two platforms. (There are lots of options you can connect together).

RSS (hosting a podcast)*

Once you've recorded it, you upload it to the host and they'll share it to places like Spotify etc.*

Click HERE for more Hosting options.

Garageband (recording podcast)*

A recording studio app to record and edit your podcast, but only available on Macs. Lots of other options available.

  • Stripe*

  • Paypal*

Facebook Creator Studio*

Free to use. Great for keeping content and social media DMs organised. You can have your IG dms on there and organise them into categories/ tags.

Later (Automatic posting to social media)*

Posts your content to social media automatically. This was amazing for when I worked in yachting and didn't have time to create content everyday, I'd create lots at one time and schedule it to be automatically posted. There's a free and paid version.

Linktree (for having a menu of links, rather than just one)*

Great for your social media links, as you can have a menu of links, instead of just one. Each link is like a branch on the tree.

Pingroupie (to find groups on Pinterest to share your content in)*

Great for Pinterest users. You can find relevant groups where you can pin your content to reach more people.

Tailwind (schedule automatic posts to Pinterest)*

I believe this is the only Pinterest approved scheduler. Free and paid version, depending what you need.

Tiktok Downloader (to download your Tiktoks WITHOUT the Tiktok logo)*

Free to use, great for reposting Tiktok videos to Instagram. Don't ever post reels to IG with the Tiktok logo on. It's like you promoting Adidas, but wearing a Nike top.

Fiverr (outsourcing ANYTHING)*

You can find freelancers to help with pretty much everything here, to name a few things:

  • Website building

  • Writers

  • Graphic designers

  • Podcast music
